Joe loved the great outdoors and wildlife. Through photography, he passionately pursued to capture all of its beauty, and the beauty in the little moments, with family and friends. Joe was happy in nature, enjoying all that it had to offer. He thoroughly enjoyed mountain biking, climbing, camping, and water skiing. When inside, he enjoyed woodworking and making furniture.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Anne Therese Weber Day Hutcheson Albers. Joe is survived by his parents, Mary and Dan of Bellbrook, brother Nathan (Saskia), and their children, Annika and Ursula of Chicago, Illinois; brother, Jonathan (Jennifer), and their children, Jack and Tomi of Springboro; sister, Sarah (Sean Holland) of Chicago, IL; loving close friend, Liz Lane of Washington, D.C.; and a plethora of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
