Obituary for Elma Jeannette Warden (Gerhardt)
Warden, Elma Jeannette, age 95, of Kettering, formerly of Bellbrook, passed away Friday, March 30th, 2018 in Xenia at Greenewood Manor.
She was born May 24th, 1922 to Christine (Schmidt) and John Gerhardt in Little Falls, New York. Elma previously worked at Carriage by the Lake and she also was a housekeeper at Conner and Koch Life Celebration home for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leslie, grandson James III, brother Ward Gerhardt and sisters Evelyn Faxon and Dorothy Getman. Elma is survived by daughter Leslie J Groves (James); granddaughter Jeannette Llewellyn (Tom) and Katie Groves; great-grandchildren Kayla Bandy, James Groves IV and Shane Groves; as well as many nieces and nephews..
To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to share during her Life Celebration visitation at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home on April 11, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Her Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm.
