Obituary for Kenneth Eugene Kingston Sr.

Kingston Sr, Kenneth Eugene, age 67, of Bellbrook, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

He was born September 13th, 1951 to Joseph Kingston and Marjorie Kaduce (Liffick). He graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor Degree in Pastoral Ministry and then with his Masters in Special Education from Wright State University. He proudly served in the US Army 11th Special Forces Command. During his two tours in Vietnam, he earned 3 Bronze Stars.

Kenny was eclectic, spontaneous, and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed traveling any chance he could. He went on adventures all through Europe, out West, Disney, and Vietnam just to name a few. He loved being involved at his church, tee time on a beautiful day, playing cards with friends, but most of all valued spending time with his grandchildren. He'll be remembered as a man that was passionate about his faith, his family, and his country.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Merlin Wayne Kingston and Eddie Lee Kaduce, 2 sisters Georgia Ann Shepherd and Wilma Jean Stromley.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 30 years Kathy (Schalnat), 5 children Nam Tran, Kenneth Kingston Jr., Tanya Lopez-Torres (Teodoro), Stacy Bender Tincher (Jason), and Mandy Bender Cameron (Rod); 12 grandchildren Victoria Dang-Stowers (Jeremy), Jacqueline Dang-Phan (Trang), Christopher Dang and their mother Thi Dang-William, Gabriel and Miguel Ramirez, Mariana, Liliana and Perla Lopez-Torres, Brady and Brooke Tincher, Gage and Eli Cameron; and great-grandchild Skyla Ramirez; 3 sisters Delores Dodge (Jim), Martha Duty, and Debra Kaduce; 3 brothers William Kingston, James Kingston (Susie) and Steven Kingston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

To help the family celebrate his life, you are invited to share during the visitation at Christ's Church, 3370 Upper Bellbrook Rd, Bellbrook, Ohio on Saturday November 17th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Life Celebration Memorial Services will follow immediately at 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Vietnam Veterans of America, 5657 Roseburg Dr, Dayton, OH 45424 or Honor Flight Dayton, Inc, 525 Victory Rd, Springfield, OH 45504.
