A generous, giving, and kind-hearted woman, Kathryn "Katy" Walton age 84, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, January 7th, 2019 in Beavercreek at Brookdale Assisted Living.
She was born June 26th, 1934 to Mary (Franer) and Malcolm Henderson. She was a homemaker but was also formerly a waitress at Lebanon Raceway. Starting from a young age, Katy would embroider, sew, and crochet various items. When she wasn't crafting, she could be found shopping or antiquing with her daughter, Trish. She loved her family more than anything and wanted to make sure that the holidays were very special for everyone, even people she barely knew. She will be remembered most for her caring heart, hospitality and vivacious personality.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry "Tom" Walton and his parents Millard and Eva Walton, her parents, brother Sonny Henderson, and sister Betty Smith.
Katy is survived by daughter Trish Walton; grandchildren Katy Ulmer (Mike), Kory Walton, Klay Walton, and Lee Stoll; great-grandchild Aurora Ulmer; brother Bernie Henderson (Carmen) and sister Ruth Ann Osborn.
To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to share during Katy's visitation at Conner and Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St. Bellbrook, OH 45305 on Thursday January 10th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Her Life Celebration Service will begin immediately after the visitation with burial to follow at Bellbrook Cemetery.
