Obituary

Obituary for Charma R Brown (Ritchie)

A brave, courageous, and loving woman Charma R. Brown, age 92, of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 in Washington Township. She was born in Sabina, Ohio on September 9th, 1927 to Opal (Russell) and David Ritchie. She retired in 2007 from her position as Administrative Assistant at Office Town East in Riverside.

Charma was a very giving woman, she would crochet scarves and afghans to give her family and friends. In her free time, she would complete jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Anyone who knew her, knew that she had an enormous love for her cats. In Charma's memory, eat some vanilla ice cream with fudge swirls or some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and listen to some 80's era music, such as Barry Manilow, Frank Sinatra, or Lionel Richie. She will be remembered for the many things that she accomplished in her life, but most of all, how she loved her family.

She is survived by her two daughters; Cheryl Whitesell of Miamisburg and Charyn (Michael) Albertini of Centerville and niece; Kay Ann Collonette. Charma is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Jeff Whitesell, and her siblings David Ritchie and Noel Ritchie.

The family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420. The family will be honoring her memory privately, but you are welcome to send a condolence, plant a tree and share a story or picture about Charma at www.ConnerAndKoch.com by clicking on her name.
