Obituary for Christopher Hamilton

Christopher Hamilton, age 9, took his last breath on this earth and first breath in Heaven while resting in his parents’ arms with his brothers and sisters at his side, at the home he loved on Sunday August 28, 2022.

Christopher dearly loved his large family, many cousins, aunts & uncles, and his grandparents. Most of all, he loved Jesus. He was a light in and to this world. He managed to love anybody that he ever met, disarming them with his irresistible smile and quirkily hilarious sense of humor. Despite his body & mind frequently trying to convince him to do otherwise, Christopher lived an amazing life filled with a love, joy, passion, and faith that will forever inspire all who knew him.

Christopher loved Jesus, family, church, worshiping God, singing, living life on his “farm”, spending time with his many farm pets, watching Frozen on endless repeat, vacationing with his family at the beach, building ridiculous castles out of blocks, and putting his parents to shame with the immense puzzles he put together.
Christopher will be forever remembered and cherished for his handsome smile, bravery against all odds, sweet & gentle soul, crazy imagination, joyful spirit and giving heart.

Christopher is survived by his parents Elisabeth & Eric; sisters Kailey, Miyah, Naomi, & Liyah; brothers Josiah, Elias, & Jonan; and his many cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Christopher would also want everybody to know that he also left behind a puppy that he loved (Ezme), 9 doting farm cats, and 15 chickens.

To help the family celebrate his life, all who loved Christopher or supported him or his family in any way are invited to join them at his Memorial Service at Fearless Church (2601 E. Alex Bell Rd, Centerville, OH 45459) on Saturday September 24, 2022. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is looking to plant Evergreen trees around their farm, as Christopher especially loved looking at “Christmas” trees. It will be a great joy for his family and their community to watch these trees, planted in his honor, grow over the years.

To provide these trees, we are working specifically with Siebenthaler’s Beavercreek Garden Center. If you would like to plant a Christmas tree in Christopher’s memory, please use the following link: https://the-siebenthaler-company.myshopify.com/collections/evergreen-trees

When you view your cart before you check out, there is an “Add order note” button, make a note that this tree is “for Christopher Hamilton” choose “Pick up” for the delivery option and if there is a choice, choose the Beavercreek pickup location.
