I would love to say many kind words about such a beautiful friend Eva Sexton. Dating her daughter and being a kinda handyman fixing a few things here and there I spent many hours maybe talking more than working "Mel will tell ya". (It doesn't take 6 weeks to paint a small bathroom). but she fed me and she was such a great cook

One thing that will always stand out is the vast knowledge she had from political to any subject! An avid Jeopardy watcher every night one of Mel's fav. I wanted to include her on our Thursday night ritual Roamers triviaHer health made that difficult. She loved to play cards with Mel and I 500 Rummy or should I say Eva 680 Mel 340 Champ 220 our last game. I gave her the business from the start Taunting her! I really tried to get under her Skin she was always composed! & cool I hated it! I refused to be called anything but Champ Although she beat me every time One time I was down to 2 cards and she picked up 18 not only did she play every card then went out. I can honestly say I never heard her say anything bad about anyone

she had an incredible mind that was with her till the end. religion was one subject we talked about most and she loved God! I know he must have a special place just for her A place with no pain a place where she is watching over her family and holding little Miriam.

I love and will miss you, my dear friend, Eva Sexton

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 β€œDo not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 β€œAnd he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
