Obituary for John Lowell Johnston Jr.
John Johnston Jr., age 63, of Bellbrook, passed away on Thursday, December 29th, 2022. He was born on June 5th, 1959 to John Johnston Sr. and Sandra Kelly (Cortright).
John spent many years honorably serving his country in the US Air Force. He served 28 years combined between active duty and reserves and worked in civil service for 32 years before retiring. While he was proud of the work he did, his true passion was living life to the fullest. As a true child at heart, he was the ultimate "Poppy," always cherishing time spent with his grandkids. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Robin, especially to Las Vegas, playing golf, bowling, and everything Ohio State Football. He was a happy, friendly, all-around nice guy, and his compassion and optimism will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his father John Johnston Sr. and brother Don Johnston.
John is survived by his wife Robin Johnston, children Adam Johnston, Matthew Johnston, Nathan Johnston, and Jeannette Dennis, grandchildren Tucker Dennis, Harper Dennis, Cooper Dennis, Xander Dennis, Amelia Johnston, Myles Johnston, and Aria Johnston, mother Sandra Kelly, and brother Brian Johnston.
