Obituary

Kathy Bowman, age 62, of St Paris, passed away Friday, June 21st, 2019 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born May 10th, 1957 to Preshia and Daniel Roark in Hyden, Kentucky.

Kathy loved being outside planting flowers in her fairy garden. She had an enormous heart for horses and loved going riding. She and her husband, Randy would enjoy spending time together by singing their favorite karaoke songs or traveling to their favorite destinations, Vegas and Florida. She loved baking cakes and cookies for fun, even if no one would eat them. Kathy will be remembered most for the love she had for her husband, family and grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her husband Randy Bowman; sons Jeremy, Tim, and Eric Humphries; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Alma Sue (Rich) Hous, Lester (Deloris) Roberts and Kenny (Pam) Roark, Charles and Virgil Roark, and numerous other family members and friends.

To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to share during her visitation at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home (92 W Franklin St, Bellbrook, Ohio 45305) on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Life Celebration Services will be held immediately afterward at 2:00 pm, and burial to follow at Bellbrook Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton (online or send donations to 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420). You are welcome to send a condolence, plant a tree and share a story or picture about Kathy at www.ConnerAndKoch.com by clicking on her name.

I met kathy in the summer of 1971. We shared stories of our latest boyfriends. We became instant friends. Although time and distance kept us apart, I'll always cherish those times with her. RIP dear friend.

Kathy and I go way back to when Jeremy and my son Brian were babies. We used to push them in strollers going to the laundry mat and we were married to brothers so we were actually family too. When I had to move away to Oklahoma I thought of her often and luckily we were able to reconnect and become close again just like we used to be.. she will always hold a place in my heart she was very special and will never be forgotten . Sending love and prayers to her family and friends. She will never be forgotten

I am so sorry! I have known Kathy my whole life. We shared the same birthday Month. We just recently were talking about being the May babies of the family. She was always the teenager I looked up to as a kid. I will miss seeing her and laughing with her at family functions. Our last words were I love you and she said I love you too! She was a beautiful and caring person that will always be missed. Love, Trish
