Coming up a year since Jack has Gone West. I think of him often, and can still hear his voice and laugh. He was a great supportive friend.

Coming up a year since Jack has Gone West. I think of him often, and can still hear his voice and laugh. He was a great supportive friend.
My husband and I were able to spend quite a bit of time with Tiff in the 70s when he was building a triplane. He taught me how to rib stitch. I'll never forget the fun we had or the blisters! In a phone conversation with him in 2011, though I hadn't talked with him in years, he called me "Babe." Just like 40 years ago; just like he addressed all ladies. It instantly took me back to the great times we enjoyed in his company. I was blessed to know him.
I am a friend from long ago and just heard of Jack's passing. I am so sorry. I have some fabulous memories of being with Jack when he was building his triplane. Please accept my sinceree condolences.

We have many fond memories of Jack during EAA in Oshkosh. Our deepest sympathy to Kate, Nick, Katie and family. Jack lived life to the fullest...always with humor and vigor...we will miss his drop-in visits and cookout stories!
Thanks for considering me as the next caretaker of one of your prized passions - the Pitcairn Autogiro!
Good Luck on your continued Journey!
Kate, Nick and Katie,
I've rarely throughout my life met anyone as unique and talented as Jack. He was that rare breed who achieved national fame for his ability with aircraft restoration and at the same time was more proud of his family than any of those well-deserved accolades. We'll miss you "Spaceman" Jack!
Jack was a unique individual. He led a singular life. At the same time, he was a people-magnet and proof positive that opposites attract. He made the lives of everyone he knew more interesting. The world will be a bit less colorful without him. Memories, though, will burn brightly for years to come. You've gone west, Jack, travel safe.
Jack was a fun guy as well as an aviation treasure- he will be truly missed. My deepest sympathies are extended to Kate and children, and may God bless you all.
Dear Nick and family,
We are so sorry for your loss, Jack was so much fun to be with, loved Christmas day at Frickers with your family. We will keep you in our hearts and prayers.
Nick, Katie, and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grieving. Just know that although we haven't spoken recently, you guys played a special role in my life, and I am truly sorry for your loss. God bless and always remember the great times you had with him, his memory will live on and his impact on this Earth was a thing of awe for many of us.
