Alice Melissa Brust (Hinckley)'s Obituary
Brust, Alice Melissa, age 98, of Trinity Community, Beavercreek, formerly of Elmwood Park, N.J., passed away Thursday,
September 2, 2021.
She was born November 19, 1922 to Edith (Overton) Hinckley and Edgar Hinckley in Middletown, N.Y. Before retiring, she was employed as the office manager for Lane Bryant in Paramus, N.J.
Alice loved traveling and family vacations, especially to the Jersey Shore! She enjoyed playing cards and games. She
was an avid reader, great cook, and excellent at crocheting. Most of all, Alice truly loved spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Brust; sister, Audrey; and brother, William. Alice is survived by her children, Robert (Julie), Ronald (Amy), and Richard (Michele); grandchildren, David (Amy), Michael (Amanda), Alisha (Travis Moore), Laura (Matthew Garrett), Lindsay (Valentino Sisti), and Steven (Alicia); great-grandchildren, Cali and Sara Brust, Owen, Emerson, Oliver and India Brust, Lorenzo and Cristian Sisti, Lucas Moore and Maris Brust-Garrett; and nieces, Shirl Pleskan, Debbie Hannah, Geaninne Hinckley and Lynnine Vickers and nephew, Sean Hinckley.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Trinity for their compassionate care and kindness to Alice.
Services and burial will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
