Michel, Alice J. (Kozlowski)
Alice was born June 28, 1930 in Dayton to Josephine (Sendral) and John Kozlowski. She graduated in 1948 from Kiser High School, Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Louis and Walter Kozlowski, and husband Ed Michel. Alice is survived by her son Steve Michel (Darlene) of Beavercreek; two daughters Sandy Cox (Bob) of Centerville, and Sherry Bailey (Steven) of Springboro; seven grandchildren Brian (Kayti), Kayla, Christa, Dan, Sam, Sydney and Shannon; and special friends Karen, Sharon, and Mary. Alice was passionate about her kids and grandkids and thoroughly loved attending and being active in their swim meets and various other sporting activities. She was a member of the Bellbrook’s CCL (Child Conservation League), “Shirts & Skirts”, and enjoyed volunteering in the clinics. Alice was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Life Celebration Services will begin with a gathering of family and friends on Monday, August 10th from 9-10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi, 6245 Wilmington Pike, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 am. Father Tom Gaeke will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home (937-848-6651) is in care of the arrangements.
