I have fond memories of times spent together on the base at Brookley. Our parents taking us to your home and you visiting at our place. Going to the base theatre, riding bikes to the pool, etc. Reichert, Greenhorn, Forrester and Thacker. What a group of great lifetime friends. My deepest sympathy to you and all the family on the loss of your dad.

I would like to express my condolences for the Greenhorns, the Wilands, and all other families involved. I received notice from my father Charles A. Wiland, son of Charles S. Wiland, a cousin of Alvin Edward Greenhorn. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan with the US Army, I apologize for my lack of physical presence in this important time.

To All the Alvin Greenhorn Family: Our Prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Amanda has told us so many good things about her grandpa. She told me (Bill) how much I would enjoy visiting with her grandpa because he had the same down to earth conservative views of the world that I have. God Bless. Bill and Dolores
