Family oriented, loving, joyful, faithful, and gracious, Missy had a magnetic personality, was a natural leader, and was funny and sarcastic in a humorous way. She revolved her life around her faith in God and her family. She was always attending church and church activities. In addition, she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She volunteered as a church camp leader at Butler Springs Christian Camp in Hillsboro and supported Young Life, a Christian organization that all her kids are heavily involved in. Spending time with her family by attending her kids’ sporting events and being the number one fan of every team her kids were a part of. She also enjoyed hanging out by the pool with them and trips to the beach on a regular basis. Cocoa Beach in Florida and Caribbean cruises were some of her favorite destinations, always with the beach as a focus. One particular cruise involved 25 ladies from her family and friends, which she always looked back fondly. She had a tradition of attending family reunions in Somerset, Kentucky each year during the Labor Day holiday. In addition, she enjoyed Black Friday shopping and Christmas Eve at her parents house each year. Among many things, she will be remembered for her love of singing, which she did with family during family gatherings, and her collection of elephants, clothes, and girly accessories.
