A patient, kind, gentle and calm husband, dad, and papa, Anthony J. "Tony" Giambrone, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his home. Tony was 83. He was born on June 13, 1936 in Utica, New York to his parents, Vincent Read Obituary
Even though Rick's and my friend, Tony, has departed from this earth, he has never truly left...he will always be alive in my heart forever. He and Annette have been true friends for the past 57 years with many, many warm and happy memories that we made throughout all those years. Rest in peace dear friend. Daune Browne
We remember and honor Tony as a charming, wise, and kind man. He was always sensitive to others and was quick with a warm and sincere \u201chow can I help\u201d in times of need. We were blessed to have known Tony and fondly remember our trip to Hocking Hills and our wonderful spaghetti dinner with Tony and Annette in January. I remember Tony from the Men's Retreat team at St. Francis of Assisi. Tony was truly a kind and gentle man who was always smiling and uplifting in his words of encouragement to us all. We really appreciated his talents especially being the official photographer who somehow managed to get the entire men's retreat group, including himself, into a photo of the event. Tony is part of my extended family that was formed on Rawlings and Fairway Dr. As a young kid, he was one of those larger than life scary parents that somehow always knew what we were up to in the neighborhood. The biggest meals, whether it was Sunday dinner or holidays, were had at Tony and Annette's. The door was always open in Tony's house with the meatballs and pizza frieds rolled in sugar being a main stay. Everyone would be there from Alisa and Anthony, my sisters, the Bonamassa's, Pinella's & Pardee's and Meyer's. ( I guess we lived in Fairborn's Little Italy!)Tony's photography was a huge part of his life. When I graduated from high school 40 years ago, the Giambrones gave me a graduation picture of four framed photos that Tony made in Glen Helen Nature Preserve. They knew that was my favorite place and I have cherished those pictures all these years. The photos I have attached do not do them justice.Tony also photographed our wedding in Richmond in 1997 and they blew away what we received from the official photographer.I am sorry to hear of Tony's passing and we wish Annette, Alisa and everyone else good memories and love

Tony was such a kind, gentle soul. His family was his life. He would light up whenever his children or granddaughters were around. And Annette, you were so blessed to have a husband like Tony. He adored you, and I know you adored him. It didn't need any words, you could just feel the love around the two of you. You are so blessed to have had this kind of love in your life. Very few people ever find the kind of lasting love that you two shared. I am praying for peace and healing for all of you, I know it's hard to get through this kind of loss. Tony and Annette were just as much a part of my early childhood in Oklahoma as Mom and Dad were. From the eyes of a little girl of 5, Tony was a gentle bear with a soft, warm voice that welcomed me into the room and made me feel special. He found a place in my heart those long years ago that lives to this day. I saw him only a few times in the many years since, but I will always remember him with the love of that little girl and the warmth, admiration and respect of the adult she became.
