Barbara J. Campbell's Obituary
CAMPBELL, Barbara J. Age 91, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025.
Barbara retired from Semtex Industrial Corporation in Washington Township in 2023 after more than 40 years of service.
Intelligent, tenacious, and determined, Barbara was family-oriented. In her earlier years, she enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and reading. She also enjoyed traveling with the girls and her extended family regularly. She always looked back fondly on a cruise she took to the Caribbean, among other exciting destinations. Trying her luck playing the slots while visiting the casino with her spouse also became a fond tradition. In her later years, she greatly enjoyed playing solitaire and other games via her tablet. Barbara always had a dog to care for, and one named Ginger was her favorite. Among many things, she will also be remembered for her love of watching the nightly news on TV, keeping up on local and current events by reading the daily newspaper cover to cover, and her love for her grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, in 2018; one son, Frank Campbell; one grandson, Christopher Campbell; her parents, Thomas Wright and Muriel Todd; and one brother, Jim Todd. She is survived by one son, Steven (Lisa) Campbell; daughter, Ronda (Gary) Clouse; three grandchildren, Scott Gifford, Bradley Gifford, and Joshua Campbell (Danielle); seven great-grandchildren, Zane, Conner, Taban, Josie, Kiersten, Hunter, and Dawson; two brothers, Douglas (Danielle) Wright and Paul (Jill) Todd; and her best friend, Judy Delbert.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday, May 24, at Conner & Koch Funeral Home in Bellbrook. A life celebration service will immediately follow the visitation at Noon on Saturday at the funeral home with Paul Todd officiating the services. Burial will be in Bellbrook Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Ohio Living Hospice or the Humane Society. Condolences at www.connerandkoch.com.
