RIP Brian.
My heartfelt condolences to the Koch family.
Brain was a very special man. He was caring, kind, and understanding. He helped us say goodbye to many family members in a very comforting way. We will always be grateful to him for that and respectful of the man he was. God bless the beloved family he is temporarily parted from.John and Susan (Barnett) Murphy
Brian was one of the most outstanding gentlemen that I have worked for and with, during our excellent friendship. A dedicated to God man, and a generous and extremely hard worker in all of his efforts.. He was humorous and one of the most " fun guys" that I have ever experienced. We know we will see him in heaven.Jack & Peg Moore, Largo,Florida
Thoughts and prayers continue with all of the family. There is no doubt that Brian was a living legacy with his family, business and community and by his daily faith walk. May those positive impacts and memories remain with you and bring you peace. -The Baird Staff and Family
Donna & Family:It was a pleasure getting to know Brian over the past couple years. He always made me feel welcome during our meetings. His passion for the funeral business and the love he had for his family was admirable. May God bless and comfort all of you.. He will be missed.
Donna and Family, Brian was such a great guy, and a great practical joker. I know he will be deeply/truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I had the privilege of getting to know Brian while I taught his 2 oldest daughters: Mackenzie and Addison, in my First Grade class at Dayton Christian School. He was an awesome #GirlDad before Kobe Bryant ever made it a “cool thing.” While Donna faithfully served as a Room Mom for classroom parties and chaperone on field trips, Brian faithfully served as “Prayer Dad” and would come in monthly to share a devotional and pray with the kids. What a wonderful, godly male role model for my students! Many years later, I reached out to him for help in making a slide show for my oldest daughter’s high school graduation open house. He readily agreed and, when I arrived to pick it up, refused to accept any payment for it. That’s just the kind of man he was: kind, helpful, and generous. I have loved seeing Brian and Donna become grandparents and watching their family grow through annual Christmas cards and on Facebook. Witnessing his legacy of faith, love, and service now lived out through his children and grandchildren is truly a blessing to us all.
