Carol Ann Uhlmann (Massey)'s Obituary
Uhlmann, Carol Ann, age 70, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, June 3rd, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton.
Carol loved to work out, she would attend her spinning class many times throughout the week. If you knew Carol, you would know that she loved her family and grandchildren more than anything. When she wasn't sewing, embroidering and creating things for her son Brennan's interior design business, you could find her shopping for some brand new purses and shoes with her daughter, Brandie. She will be remembered most for the love that she had for all of her family and friends.
She was born May 1st, 1949 to Clara Nanette (Hamblet) and James E Massey. Carol was employed as a Branch Specialist for PNC Bank for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James L Massey, and infant son Derek Brian Hovell.
Carol is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gunther "Fred" Uhlmann, and children Brennan Michael (Erik Kegler) Hovell, Brandie Suzanne Hovell-Barlow, Kurt Uhlmann, and Liz (Mark) Sawyer; grandchildren, Liam and Drew Barlow, Joseph and Avery Uhlmann, Nathan, Cody and Lexi Sawyer; her sister, Bonnie (Gino) Prudholm and brother, Richard Massey; uncle, George Massey and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
To help the family celebrate Carol's life, you are invited to share during her visitation at Conner and Koch Life Celebration Home (92 W. Franklin St. Bellbrook, OH 45305) Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with services to immediately follow.
Carol enjoyed Mexican food, and the family asks that following the service to join them for memories, drinks, appetizers and taco bar at Fleck's private barn (3607 Stutsman Rd, Bellbrook, OH 45305)
