Carolee Y Buccalo (Yoder)'s Obituary
Buccalo, Carolee Y, age 93, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, January 1st, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born February 16th, 1924 Iowa City, Iowa to Emma (Bell) and Nicholas Yoder.
Carolee was a gifted gardener and was known to start flower seeds indoor and when ready, would plant them outside. She loved children and was quite enthusiastic about babies, having babysat family and friends babies thoughout the years. Carolee was a talented musician who played the piano, guitar, banjo and even the drums. She used her appreciation of arts and crafts to serve others. She valued life and lived every day to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her her parents, husband, James N. Buccalo, Jr., and two sisters, Claudine Wilson and Shirley Elam. Carolee is survived by four sons, James Buccalo III, David Buccalo (Teresa), Craig Buccalo, and Nick Buccalo; seven grandchildren, Yvonne Martin (Troy), Kate Buccalo, Allison Buccalo (Jason Shaw), Angela Campbell (Joshua), Craig Buccalo, Jr., Tyler Buccalo, and Rachel Cruz-Buccalo; seven great-grandchildren, Alec and Alaina Martin, Jonathon, Abagail and Adeline Campbell, and Craig Buccalo III, Will Buccalo; and one sister, Gini Kellogg.
To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to her life celebration visitation on Friday January 5th from 5-7 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook. Life Celebration Services will continue on Saturday, January 6th at 11:00 am at Conner & Koch. Burial will follow at Bellbrook Cemetery.
