I met Connie the day I went to DESC for a job interview. That started my 32 yrs. of federal service. Connie thought I would be good for the job because I had a good handwriting. Connie and I hit it off right away. We became fast friends. I remember all the good times we had at work and outside of work. Somehow we always ended up working close together, and I grew to love Connie like a sister. When I got married Connie became good friends with my husband also. We shared many good times together when she would come down to Springfield to visit us at our camper. I can't tell you how much we both will miss Connie. We both loved her dearly.
