Cynthia D. Valley's Obituary
Cynthia D. Valley, age 72, of Bellbrook, passed away on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022.
She was born on December 18th, 1949 to Ronald and Edith (Wilson) Davis. She graduated from Belmont High School and attended classes at Wright-State University. She later worked as the Librarian for Stephen Bell Elementary School, a job that suited her well because of her own love of books and reading. However, it was a love unmatched by the love she felt for her family. Cindy was an incredibly selfless wife, mom, and grandma. She always put them first, enjoyed supporting them and being with them more than anything else. She treasured their Sunday dinners, vacations to the beach, and all sporting events and activities the grandkids were involved in.
She grew up attending Corinth Presbyterian Church, was baptized and married there, and then raised her kids there until they too were baptized and married at the church. She loved the Lord, a faith that was evident in her compassion and generosity. She enjoyed crotchet, and her crochet circle at church, but most commonly used her skill and her time to make blankets and baby hats for others. Cindy also loved being in the Corvette group, "Vette Set Society," with her husband Ted. She loved doing crossword puzzles and enjoyed collecting bears and angels. She loved daisies and the color yellow, which is evident in the two yellow Corvettes they own. She will be remembered by many for her infectious smile and kind heart.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ted Valley, children Ted (Kelly) Valley and Errin (Keith) Warner, grandchildren Tyler and Camryn Valley and Caleb and Jaden Warner, and her grand-dog Zoey, who always made her smile. She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Edith Davis.
