Roberts, Daniel Williams “Dan”, “Danny”, “Mr. Roberts”, “Coach”
Was born October 28, 1960 in Dayton to Doris Onalee (McCoy) and Ernest Carroll Roberts. He was a 1979 graduate of Bellbrook High School and 1984 graduate of Heidelberg College, where he was a member of the Excelsior Fraternity. Dan was a football, wrestling and baseball athlete at both the high school and collegiate level. He taught Physical Education for 30 years at Jefferson Twp. High School, where he was a beloved teacher, coach and mentor. Dan was passionate about his family, friends and sports. He was preceded in death by his dad, Ernie, and his brother David. Dan is survived by Renee; his children, Amber Lee and Reed Edward Roberts; mother Lee Roberts; brothers, Clarke (Carol), Bob (Wendy), Thomas, and Michael (Karen); eleven nieces; two nephews, three great-nieces; four great-nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family invites you to a visitation to celebrate his life on Thursday April 28th from 5-8 pm at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). Life celebration services will continue on Friday at 11:00 am with the interment at Bellbrook Cemetery.
