David "Grant" Steele's Obituary
STEELE, David “Grant”, age 60, of Bellbrook, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital.
Grant worked 20 years for the family grocery business, Darrel’s Super Value, in New Lebanon.
Friendly, kind, and generous, Grant had a genuine and outgoing personality who never met a stranger. Sports-oriented his entire life, Grant greatly enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and rooting on his beloved Cincinnati Bengals and OSU Buckeyes. He also enjoyed shopping, especially if he could work up a deal. He loved country music, and even got the privilege to meet George Strait at one point. Among many things, he will be remembered for the care he gave to his mother once his father passed away.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Steele. He is survived by his mother, Janette Steele; his daughter, Hannah Steele; three brothers, Greg (Lynn) Steele, Scott (Sharon) Steele, and Brad (Hope) Steele; one sister, Laura (Paul) Curry; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1 -3 PM Sunday, April 21 at Conner & Koch Funeral Home in Bellbrook. A celebration of life service will immediately follow the visitation on Sunday at 3 PM at the funeral home. Celebrant Brian Bennett will be officiating the services. A live stream link is provided on Grant's tribute page if you wish to view the celebration of life service on Sunday at 3 PM.
