Dean Strehle's Obituary
Dean E. Strehle, a happy-go-lucky and caring man of 66, passed away on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022.
He was born on November 28th, 1955 to David and Dolores (Rushford) Strehle. Dean was born the second of five, the first four of which were boys, so he was never short on trouble or competition, and then finally a girl, who Dean always treated sweetly. Dean graduated from Bellbrook High School and then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Wright State University and a Masters Degree in Business. While living in Dayton, he started working for General Motors, and the company later moved him to their Fairfax Plant in Kansas City, where because of his love of football, he now had two teams to love, the Cincinnati Bengals AND the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dean enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and all varieties of gambling, including placing bets on his golf and bowling. He was always helping others, even if it was only in small ways, he was always eager to help his friends and family. He loved the music of the Doobie brothers, enjoyed collecting coins, and had wanted to attend a game in every NFL stadium in the country, making it to about 9. He had a hearty and contagious laugh that will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Dan Strehle.
Dean is survived by brothers Gene (Reine) Strehle and David (Sharon) Strehle, sister Diane (James) Ashworth, sister-in-law Lisa Strehle, nieces and nephews Jonathan Strehle, Brooke Shinkle, Lindsay Strehle, Alex Strehle, Josh Strehle, Nicole (Michael) Conley, Jacob Strehle, Justin Strehle, Jamie Ashworth (Justin Cook), Jessica (Jake) Farris, Timothy Ashworth, and Elaine Ashworth.
