D'James "DJ" Alexander Moore's Obituary
D'James "DJ" Moore, age 17, of Bellbrook, passed away Thursday, June 20th, 2017. He was a loving, compassionate, energetic, humble, and respectful young man.
DJ was born April 19th, 2000 to Danny Moore and Inez Coles. He attended Bellbrook High School as a sophomore, and completed 11th grade at Mound St. Academy, Dayton. DJ was working as a cashier at Arby's in Bellbrook.
In his spare time, DJ would be found hanging out with his friends and family probably sharing in his love of football and basketball or going places. He was a huge Bengals fan, and played Madden Football &NBA 2K 17 video games.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joan Coles; uncle Bert Winston; aunt Lashawn Winston; uncle Dartain Moore, and cousin Rovena Turner.
DJ is survived by his mother, Inez Coles (Jimmy); father Danny Moore,Jr. (Zhanisha); brothers, Danny III, Drew, NJ, and Daniel; sisters, Unique, Miracle, Nazia, and Emiyah; aunts, Michelle Winston, Rovena (William) Hardrick, Johnnell Dewberry, Debra Allen, Charrtie Coles, and Danielle Moore; uncles, Tommy Coles, Lorenzo Coles, Charles Hardin, Gujan Payton, and Dewayne Moore; maternal grandfather, Tommy Coles, Sr. (Glo); paternal grandmother, Nancy Collins; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Moore; and paternal grandfather, Danny Moore,Sr.; a host of cousins including special cousins, Eugene Turner, Tommar, Terrion, and Tommarianna Coles.
From the bottom of their hearts, the family would like to thank Clyde Bowers for risking his life to save DJ's life, Autumn Taylor for her support, and the entire community for their overwhelming support.
Life celebration visitation will be held Thursday June 29th from 11am to 1pm at Centerville Seventh Day Adventist, 456 W. Spring Valley Pk, Centerville, OH 45458 with services to follow immediately at 1pm with Pastor Mackenzie Kambizi officiating. Interment will be Thursday June 29th at West Memory Gardens.
