Donna K. Hall's Obituary
Donna Kaye Hall, age 77, of Wilmington, formerly of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, January 25th, 2022.
She was born on July 22nd, 1944 to Loren and Nelliemae (Highfill) Wright. Donna spent most of her life working in the home, but loved flowers and gardening so much that she spent time working at both Siebenthaler’s and Centerville Mill. As a family, they enjoyed many happy summers at Dale Hollow Lake, boating, skiing, and soaking up the sun. Donna and her husband, Arlie, loved to spend time driving through the country in the convertible, and going out to eat with friends, especially at Bob Evans. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds at her house, and loved all of her cats and grand-pets.
She truly enjoyed going to church and loved the community she had at Christ Church in Bellbrook. Donna was very loving, a grandma to everyone, and was always prepared to offer hugs and a big, memorable smile. She was very passionate about her love for her family. Those who knew her best will always miss her long-winded phone calls and personal touch to everyone with her cards and letters.
She was preceded in death by her parents Loren and Nelliemae Wright, sister Deborah Wright, and son-in-law Darrin Edwards. Donna is survived by husband Arlie Hall, daughters Pamela Hall and Heather Edwards-Umstead (Doug), grandchildren Jessica (Todd) Wyman, Emily (Sam) Asher, Cole Brown, Savannah Martindale, great-grandchildren Owen and Annamae Wyman, Nolan Asher, and Norah Asher coming in March, brother Robin L. Wright, and many close friends.
To help the family celebrate her life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Christ's Church of Bellbrook (3370 Upper Bellbrook Rd, Sugarcreek Township, OH 45305).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Clinton County Humane Society (PO Box 1024, Wilmington, OH 45177). You are welcome to write a condolence, send flowers, plant a tree, and share a story about Donna at www.ConnerAndKoch.com.
