Hello, McNulty family! I just now learned of Ed's death and I am filled with sadness at his death and with gratitude for the blessing of sharing in his life. I was 10 years old when Ed and Sandy moved to Bottineau, North Dakota and Ed became the minister of our tiny Presbyterian congregation. I was your babysitter! I remember going into his home study and seeing all those paperback books, split by topic: theology or science fiction. After my family moved from Bottineau, I did not see him again, but once I became an adult, I made it a practice to write to him each year on the anniversary of my confirmation. I went to a Presbyterian college, graduated from seminary, and was ordained in the UCC. Throughout my ministry (I am retired now) I gained much from my correspondence with Ed as did my clergy-husband. Ed was a devoted seeker after justice, a very brave preacher, a mentor for many, and a man who loved both God and his family with all his heart. I hope my ministry reflected some of his qualities and his faith. Blessings to you all! Jenny Dawson
