Schwegman, you will be missed, your spirit, your love of snakes and your laughter. You were a great friend!
Our heart felt condolences and wishes of peace to the Schwegman family.
My deepest condolences to the Schwegman family. He is now at peace and will be missed. I had the pleasure of working with Eric at LADD for many years. When he joined the company he started in the marketing dept working for Molli Craddock where the famous tie in the shredder incident happened. Which became part of LADD lore and always brought a good laugh to everyone. Making everyone laugh was one of Eric’s many talents. I believe it was in 2003 Eric and his family had decided they wanted to move to Tennessee and Eric thought he would have to leave LADD to move. Things were changing in the sales team and I became the sales manager for Tennessee. I asked my boss if we could offer Eric a job in sales and have Eric cover Tennessee and a few other states. We all agreed Eric would be the perfect fit and the rest is history. Eric took to sales like a bass to water (we all know Eric loved to bass fish). Eric was a great salesman, his customers loved him, as a manager I loved him, he made me look like a genius. Eric, Mitch Clark and I were a team for many years and we were part of the bigger LADD sales team which we all enjoyed being a part of. We will all miss you Eric. Thank
Always in our hearts. Hayley would never miss a chance to dance with Eric and he always happily obliged. A very kind soul.
Donna, Tom and Jan - I am so sorry for your loss. We raise our children, never thinking they could go before us. My prayers for you and all the family.
We pray the love of God enfolds you during your journey through grief.
Eric was a great guy. I had the privilege of working with him for many years at LADD and always enjoyed being around him at our annual sales meetings - he would hold court telling stories and making us all laugh. A Schwegman story was not to be missed; he had a gift.More than anything he loved his family. He always talked about and adored his kids. I hadn’t seen Eric in a couple of years since they broke up the LADD team and I was saddened to hear of his passing.Whenever I think of Schweg I’ll smile remembering the guy who was so fun to be with. My heart goes out to his family - Eric is at peace in heaven sitting around with friends and making them laugh....rest in peace Schweg!
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Schwegman family during this very difficult time. I worked with Eric for many years at Ladd and considered Eric as a good friend. Eric had a great sense of humor, fun to be around and just seemed to love life. I think he enjoyed being in the center of attention. Was a jokester. Always had a fishing story or two to tell. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved his family. Loved to talk about his kids. Just a great all around guy. While Eric is no longer physically with us his spirit is always around us. Extending my most heartfelt condolences to the family.
Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
My thoughts and prayers to Angie, Macey, and Eli. Eric loved to talk sports and basketball with me - good memories sitting in the backyard with the campfire going and talking all things sports. Eric convinced me twice to coach Eli's Future Firebird games. I'll never forget when we beat Huber Heights and I talked to him all the way home from the game on the phone about it, he loved it - I don't think anything would get Eric has happy as his kids winning sports games and the Buckeyes winning football games! My everlasting memory though will be Eric putting together his Backyard Basketball Brawl, making t-shirts for the boys. He enjoyed putting it together and watching all the boys hang out together. My boys loved it and would talk it about it all summer. Eric was always super kind to my boys and enjoyed watching them hang out together. Several times he would tell me how he was glad to have Evan over and enjoyed seeing their friendship with Eli. It's very sad and tragic to hear this - I have been praying that Eric would recover and find new hope - it's a battle for many and it's sad to this happen to him.
