Esther Pauline Wilkin

Wilkin, Esther Pauline, age 96, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at her home. She was born September 9th, 1921 to Lenna (Coakley) Dixon and Lew Dixon. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and canning. Esther also loved traveling and playing euchre. Her winters were spent in Florida spanning a couple of decades. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Roscoe E "Pete" Wilkin. Esther is survived by daughter Barbara (Paul) Sheidler of Bellbrook, Nancy Bernhard of New Carlisle, 6 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420. The family will hold a memorial service at Central Christian Church, 1200 Forrer Blvd, Kettering, OH 45420 at 12:00 pm on December 9, 2017, with a casual visitation immediately following the service.
