Eugene "Gene or Bucket" Buchelt's Obituary
Eugene (Gene) Buchelt, died Monday June 15th 2015 at his home in Kettering, OH. Gene was born August 30th, 1930 to John and Marie Buchelt. He was preceded in death by sisters Elizabeth (Betty) and Rosemary, and cousin Erika Zendel Fischbach. He served in the US Army from ’53 to ’55 in Germany, and spent the majority of his career working for General Motors Moraine Assembly Truck and Bus in the tool and die shop. In his earlier years, he loved to fish and boat on the Ohio River with friends. Gene is survived by cousins Lisa Fischbach Denlinger, Kim Fischbach Taylor, and Randolf Eugene Fischbach, and 13 of their children who will miss their “Uncle” Gene. His presence and sense of humor will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation at 6pm on Monday June 29th at 6pm and service at 7pm at Conner & Koch, Bellbrook.
