When her and Mom (Lorene (Stacy) Morgan) got together they would sit and reminisce and laugh for hours. In loving memory of Felanese Webb, your brother Floyd (Dean) Stacey.
I met Felanese several years ago when a few of us from church helped her move into an independent living apartment at Brookdale of Kettering. I was able to visit with her a lot and became instant friends. I learned right away that she was a meticulous housekeeper who enjoyed doing her own cooking. She was very picky about food! She and I would laugh about that. She enjoyed being with people, shopping, getting her hair cut and styled. I took a picture of her almost every time we had her hair done. She said “I love you” a lot. She meant it too! As she progressed to assisted living and a few moves, she always declared her love for her favorite aides. Felanese always wanted to be at worship and when she couldn’t make it she was sad. She even brought guests with her from two different facilities where she lived.Dementia is a cruel disease and as it progressed to Alzheimers there were some changes that made life easier even if she didn’t realize it. She began to enjoy all foods and forgot about the things that hurt her heart and no longer cried over them. As recently as three or four weeks ago; she mentioned wanting to go to worship. That was the first time in a while she had said that. She loved the Lord and longed to meet Him. She always hoped for her friends and family to know and serve Him!Please visit us at the Cornerstone church of Christ in Centerville and meet her spiritual family!I will miss Felanese on this earth and have the hope to see her again.
My grandmother will be dearly missed. She was such a big part of my childhood and helped make me who I am today. I love her so much and have so many happy memories with her. Going home to the Lord is something she talked about frequently and I take comfort in that she is now with Him. -Stacy Klug
