Floyd "Bud" Henry Danielson's Obituary
Danielson, Floyd H. “Bud”, Jr.
Floyd Henry, Jr. was born the second of three children to Mila Theodora (Bundy) and Floyd Henry Danielson, Sr. on March 10, 1932 in Oil City, PA. He was a true nature lover and Boy Scout, enjoying camping and all activities of the outdoors. In high school, Floyd “Bud” worked for the local Woolworths Five & Dime Store in Meadville, PA, where he met a co-worker Lois Stallard. After graduation, she became his wife on Nov. 10, 1951. Bud had a vibrant faith and ministry in Christ. He was formerly in leadership at Washington Heights Baptist Church, a charter member of Clearcreek Chapel, and went to Brazil on mission trips and construction projects. Bud worked his whole life as a carpenter with the exception of his latest ten employment years when he achieved a life-long goal as a millwright. Bud was also a member of the Society for the Preservation of Old Mills. He enjoyed traveling, particularly to the old mills, camping sites, Air Force Museum and Civil War sites, never taking the highway. Bud will also be remembered for his adventures in cooking and sailing in his styrofoam boat. With his grandkids, he loved hiking and teaching them about nature and gardening as well as playing Dominoes and other games with them. Bud passed away Saturday November 21, 2015 at Elmcroft of Washington Township. Bud is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois L.; son Craig Danielson (Rebecca) of Washington Twp.; daughter Cheryl Coker of Huber Heights; daughter Cathy Roth (Dan) of Miami Twp,; son Carey Danielson (Donna) of Tehachapi, CA; twelve grandchildren Amy McSwegin (Doug), Evan Danielson, Michael Coker (Erin), Lauren Kuhr (Paul), Brian Coker (Ashley), Eric Danielson, Christina Davis (Ben), Zach Roth, Tabitha Danielson, Nicole Chambers (Andrew), Timothy Danielson, Jonathan Danielson, six great-grandchildren Noah Coker, Mason McSwegin, Kenzie Brooks, Ellie Coker, Ryleigh Coker and Mila McSwegin.
