Dear Spence Family,\r\n\r\nI am so sorry for your loss. Frankie was a lovely lady, and I enjoyed working with her at Wright State. She was always helpful and kind. She will be missed by all who knew her.\r\n\r\nFrankie handled her cancer diagnosis and treatment with such dignity and grace. She put up a brave fight. I'm sorry that her time came so soon, because she was so full of life and love.\r\n\r\nWhile there are no words that can take away your heartache and pain, I hope you find comfort in knowing that Frankie meant the world to so many.\r\n\r\nI will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. \r\n\r\nWith deepest sympathy,\r\nKim Patton \r\n\r\n
Our sympathy to Frankie's husband and children. She is in our daily prayers.
Frankie was one of the first people I met at WSU Foundation and her generosity towards my son will never be forgotten. I read this today and thought of her:\r\n\r\nDeath is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well.\r\n- Henry Scott Holland (01\/27\/1847 to 03\/14\/1918), Regius Professor of Divinity at the University of Oxford.\r\n\r\nI understand these words and agree...but feel she will be missed and am sure that it doesn't feel \"the same\" to those close to her. Much love and condolences to all of those.\r\n\r\nxoxoxo\r\nBECCA
Our condolences to John, Joshua and Stephanie. We are so sorry for your loss.
Dear Spence Family:\r\n\r\nI was very sorry to see that Frankie passed. I worked with her at Wright State for many years, she was a great lady, we both started taking quilting classes at the same time and she would come to see me to share her latest quilt or the new fabric that she had bought for the next quilt. She had a great sense of humor and a great laugh. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time but she has left you with so many great memories to get you through it.\r\n\r\nSuzy Zech
Dear Spence Family,\r\nI've known Frankie for many years. Through Brookview swim club, at one time we were neighbors, Bunko, walking, water aerobics, and she served on our Bellbrook Beautification Committee with me. Frankie also baked a great pie! \r\n Knowing Frankie, I know she put up a strong fight!\r\nPrayers for peace for Frankie and my very deepest sympathies to you all.
John and Family,\r\n\r\nMike and I are truly sorry to hear about the passing of Frances. Our hearts are broken and you are in our thoughts and prayer. God bless.\r\n\r\nLove in Jesus name,\r\nMike and Cathy Combs
Our prayers are with you and your family. May God wrap his loving arms around you with love.
I am so sorry to hear of Frankie's passing. I worked with her for several years at Wright State. She was an honest soul who always spoke her truth and often made me smile. I'll miss her!
