I had the pleasure of being docked near Grant and Lynn on Brookville Lake, we always enjoyed there company. I never knew what a settee was until I meant Grant. He said he was going in to rest on the settee. I had to look it up to see what it was, best you Lynn.
When our son married Aimee, he hit the jackpot -- wonderful wife, fantastic mother-in-law, great brother, and soon, a new dad-in-law, Grant Blount. I was privileged to attend their wedding. What a celebration of love for each other. We did not see them very often at all. We did go on a trip to Yellowstone with Matt and Aimee and boys, Lynn and Grant, and us. What a time was had. I jokingly asked Grant to go to the store the next morning before coming to the campsite and buy me a larger pan to cook noodles or something. He turned with a smile and said "any idea what it will cost" and I replied "I think about $75 or so. He was dumbfounded. I finally had to tell him it was a joke but honestly, I am positive he saw no humor in it. We will miss you Grant.
