Gregory E Buschur's Obituary
Buschur, Greg E., of Monroe, passed away on October 23, 2016, at the age of 80. He was born to Gregory and Helen (Mergy) Buschur on September 21, 1936 in Hamilton, OH. He graduated from The Ohio State University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He worked for Defense Electronic Supply Center (D.E.S.C.) and retired in 1991 after 31 years of employment. He enjoyed camping with Okie and their family and friends, square dancing, playing euchre, and collecting toy electric trains. Greg was preceded in death by his first wife Sondra K. (Nagel) Buschur and sisters Gracie Mergy and Rita (Dan) Ferkinhoff. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Okie (Duff) Buschur, daughter Melinda K. James, son Michael (Lisa) Buschur, step-daughter Kim (Barry) Burkinshaw, step-sons Rocky (Kim) Sebastian and Jay (Jenny) Sebastian, 2 grandchildren Corey (Savanah) James and Shaun Buschur, 5 step-grandchildren Jason Patrick, Justin (Brittany) Boone, Brian Sebastian, Kristy (Kyle) Marcum, Natalie Sebastian, 2 great-grandchildren Jagger James, Alessia James, 3 step great-grandchildren Alex Garrison, Adrianne Patrick, Olivia Boone, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and special friends. Memorial Service to be officiated by Pastor Paul Santoro at Christ Church (3370 Upper Bellbrook Rd. Bellbrook, OH 45305) on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties (5940 Long Meadow Dr. Franklin, OH 45005).
