Guy A. LeValley's Obituary
Guy Alan LeValley, known to most as "Santa," passed away unexpectedly at his home in Dayton, Ohio on August 30, 2021 at the age of 68, but his larger-than-life persona, trademark stubbornness, and contagious laugh will not be forgotten.
He was born on June 10, 1953 at WPAFB to Raybourn and Nancy LeValley. A graduate of Bellbrook High School Class of 1972, he joined the United States Navy immediately upon graduation and proudly served in Vietnam where he was honorably discharged and awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.
Guy is survived by his mother Nancy LeValley, sisters Deborah LeValley Armento, Sherry LeValley Metz, Kim LeValley-Addington, and Tina LeValley, children Dana LeValley Brun (Jason), Jason LeValley (Holly), Brandon LeValley (Erica), and Joshua LeValley (Sara-Marie), and 7 grandchildren whom he was so very proud of, Nolan, Wyatt, Landon, Charlotte, Elise, Allyssa, Adelynn, and a new grandson, Jaxx Alan, that is due to be born in February. He is preceded in death by his father Raybourn LeValley, nephews Eric and Aaron Balliet, and niece Michele Balliet.
Guy will be fondly remembered for playing Santa for his grandchildren, friends and community every Christmas. He truly loved bringing joy to those surrounding him. He also enjoyed being a part of Medway Church, his motorcycle club, bowling league, and golfing.
Guy will be missed immensely by his family, many friends, and his beloved dogs.
