Harold Eugene Finafrock's Obituary
Harold E. Finafrock, of Bellbrook, passed away on Sunday, July 5, at his home at the age of 84. On March 21, 1931, Harry Finafrock and Mallie Sturgill Finafrock welcomed their son, Harold, into the world. Their son was smart, independent, stubborn and funny. When he was 20 years old he joined the United States Army and served from 1951 to 1953. During his years in the military he earned his private pilot’s license. Harold then began working for General Motors where he was employed for 37 years as a Job Setter. During his life he enjoyed piloting private planes, amateur radios and being a member of the Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club. His other talents included carpentry, building electronic equipment, painting, and photography. Harold was an excellent caregiver to his wife, Phyllis, before her death in 1996. He is survived by daughter Cathy Ann (Finafrock) Pincus (Robert), grandson David Pincus, granddaughter Rachel Pincus, all of Houston, Texas, and brother Roy Finafrock (Maribeth) of Bellbrook.
