Helen B. Shope's Obituary
SHOPE, Helen B., age 81, of Bellbrook, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Outgoing, carefree, happy, friendly, and upbeat, Helen was always willing to help people. She always had a pet to care for, especially her beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Casey. She took Casey everywhere she went and especially enjoyed taking her for visits to the nursing home to visit Helen’s mom when she was living. She also enjoyed keeping her home neat and tidy, and working out in her yard. She especially enjoyed caring for and spending time with her grandsons while they were growing up. Among many things, she will be remembered for her love of Tom Jones and Elvis Presley music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, in 1999, and her mother, Julia Middleton. She is survived by two sons, Jeff King and Roy King, and three grandchildren, Tyler King, Todd King, and Roy King III.
