Hughie S Russell's Obituary
Russell, Hughie S., age 79, of Centerville, passed away Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at his home in Centerville.
He was born January 10th, 1938 to Governor Russell and Nettie (Fannon) Russell. Hughie served his country with honor in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors where he previously worked as a job setter.
Hughie is survived by his two daughters, Gina Gregory (Joe) and Sandra Sheppard (Doug); four grandchildren, Mandy (Damien), Brian, Mandie and Hannah; six great-grandchildren, Abigail, Wyatt, Zoe, Garrett, Stella, and Harper. He is also survived by his brother Eugene Russell and sister Butus Burchett (John).
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Beaver Cemetery, Dayton-Xenia Rd Beavercreek. Pastor Jerry Siler will officiate.
The family wants to extend a special thanks of love and gratitude to all of Hughie's caregivers for their kindness and exceptional care - friends, family, Sharon Blevins, Hughie's "personal angel" Ann Sherman, and Grace Hospice for their special care with dementia.
