Ira W. McKee, Jr's Obituary
Ira Wilson McKee, Jr. "Mickey" passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at his home in Spring Valley. He was born in Cincinnati on January 8, 1947 to Anna Lee (Weeks) McKee and Ira Wilson McKee, Sr.
Ira was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; sons, Mark Wilson (Tammy) and Ira Christopher (Charlotte); daughter, Robin Frances; grandson, Eric Wilson; granddaughters, Angela Nicole, Katlynn Marie, and Ruby Ann; great-grandson, Felix; sisters, Donna, Katherine, and April; and special friends and neighbors that are "like family", friends Brett Bonecutter & Steve Fuller, and neighbors Tim, Connie & Chris Slouffman.
Ira spent his teenage years in Boone & Kenton Counties in Kentucky. He retired from Speedway Super America where he worked as a maintenance technician. Ira enjoyed his family, fishing, camping, and four-wheeling, not necessarily in that order. He liked to tell jokes, tall tales, and "fishing stories". He will be missed by all who loved him.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Ira's life on Saturday September 5th from 2:00-4:00 pm at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651) where you are invited to share and compare jokes, tall tales, and "fishing stories".
