What a wonderful neighbor and loving family man! We will miss his friendly presence. May God comfort you through this difficult time.
I met him when his wonderful son was Pastor at the church we attended in Willard Ohio. "Way back when," his daughter-in-law Donna & some of her friends went to his house for a swim. They are such a congenial couple & I've enjoyed posts on Facebook about them. He will be missed; he made the world a better place! But I'll be seeing him one of these days!
Enjoyed spending time with Jan and her folks in Branson. They were such a joy to be around. My prayers are with you all.
We loved this man like our own . He was an amazing man of God and his humor was so contagious. You will be so missed dear friend. Dick & Judy
It is an honor to call Jack Woods my friend although we did not see each other very often in recent years. I respect his service to our country and admired his photography work. To the family: our prayers are with you in this season of life. You remain friends to Dora and me that will last our lifetime. "God walks the dark hills." He is with you all the time.
Oh our precious friend. Our many lunches after church. Flaming Pit. Brown Derby. Frishes. Don Pablos. My house. Lemon Meringue Pie invokes a memory of Jack. His favorite. Will miss him but will see him in paradise one day not too far off. \u2764\ufe0f Harry and Gale Fleischhauer.
We were next door neighbors to Jack and Gerry for about 15 years. We moved into a whole new place (coming from Indiana) as a young couple with 2 babies. Jack was the first one to greet us and Gerry brought us a pie on our first day in the house. For the next 15 years, we enjoyed the most loving and giving relationship with Jack, Gerry, their children, and grandchildren that you could imagine. Our son and daughter became life long friends with Jeremy and Melissa. They were soooooooooo kind to open their beautiful pool to our children and, actually all of the children in the neighborhood during summer days. I often talked with Jack outside as we were doing yard work and ALWAYS loved his logic, his kindness, and his love for others. I can't think of Jack without thinking of Gerry. Love you both soooo much. You meant the world to us when we were young and in a new place.
