FRYMAN, James “Jim” E., age 88, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Jim graduated from Stivers High School, class of ‘54. He honorably served in the United States Army du Read Obituary
In my life, I never knew a kinder more grace filled individual. There are no parts of my life he did not touch in the time I knew him, and no part of my life he doesn’t resonate through, even now that he has returned unto our Heavenly Father. Jim was the most interesting, quirky, funny industrious man I ever knew. With his life stories, the relationships I saw him maintain up until the very last, he embodied so many admirable qualities, words can not truly do justice. I often felt compelled to ask the Lord, is it you here with me , or Jim Fryman? Because he was just such a good and beautiful human being. Never one contradiction, never one variance and never one action to cause questions or doubt.
Personal mentor, confidant and friend, his love for me caused the wounds of my life to heal. There are many who will miss him, and I myself shall never be the same. I believe that his family and friends are endless testaments to his grace, because he loved everyone as well as they all loved him. I could go on and on, but all in total, I thank God for making James Fryman and bringing the angel into my existence. I pray his family always know that he adored them endlessly, and anticipate being with him in the hereafter.
Proverbs 22:1-6 reminds me of "Fryman" who also lived on Quinby Lane & his daughter Linda babysat for our kids; when we moved to TX in mid seventies he and my brother Steve moved us far away. Fryman moved down the street later from our Hall and Walton families and lifelong friend Carol Sipe on "Stutsman Road." I was always thankful to hear he had coffee with them regularly and would always lend a helping hand whenever needed and seemed like a part of "our" family. My uncle James "Bill" Walton was also in Korean War & worked at NCR. Many, many of our family "rest" in Bellbrook Cemetery as will "Jim"...well done, a good and faithful servant with a "good name."

Jim and Frances made us laugh a lot when they joined a local clogging dance group in Bellbrook called the Orange Blossum Express. Jim made it more fun for all is us.

Jim will be missed. Jim had a very special way about him in which he made you feel important and a part of his family. We will miss our favorite Leprechaun Grandpa.. Jim you were an amazing great Grandpa to our grandchildren..... Jerry and Jennifer Durbin
Jim was the best neighbor anyone could ask for. He was always willing to lend a hand, loan a tool or share a laugh. He will be sorely missed.
