James Nevitt's Obituary
A sweet, intelligent and jovial man, James Shaw Nevitt, age 80, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 in Kettering.
He was born July 11th, 1938 to Evelyn (Shaw) and Robert Nevitt. James earned a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering,and was employed as Engineer for Systems Research Lab.
James was a classic car enthusiast and computer specialist. He had a very different way of looking at things, given his mechanical engineering degree which he would proudly pass on to his grandson, Brad. He had an enormous heart for his small close-knit family. He will be remembered most for his favorite Starlight Mints, Oreo's, and the endearing love he shared for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sandy (Black) Nevitt: his daughter Kelly (Mark) Pupo and their son Bradley, and great-aunt Virginia Kable.
