Janice Jean (Lewber) Barnett
age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday October 28th after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Janice was born in Dayton to the late John and Jean (Rausch) Lewber. She lived most of her life in Bellbrook, graduating from Bellbrook High School in 1959. She married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Barnett, in 1961. She was a school bus driver for Centerville City Schools for many years and retired from Kroger's in 2003 after 25 years of employment. She was a retired member of the UFCW #75. She devoted her life to helping others. She was an avid reader and tutored elementary school children in reading, volunteered at the Tenth Life for many years and most recently joined the Bellbrook Lioness Club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved cats and they were a big part of her life. She will be greatly missed. Janice is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald B. Barnett, her children Rhonda L. Rosenlieb (Jeff), Jason M. Barnett (Kate), grandchildren Briana, Conor, Dillon and Darian Rosenlieb, Alexandra Barnett, (and one on the way), her sister Judith Lewber, sister-in-law Betty (Barnett) Livingston, and numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends Sunday November 2 from 5-7 pm at CONNER & KOCH LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). A life celebration will be Monday at 11:00 am with Pastor Norman "Pete" Moyer officiating. Burial at Davids Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tenth Life, P.O.
