I'm truly sad to hear of Jean's passing. I can't overstate what an inspiration she was to me. I experienced her as smart, passionate, funny, and so engaged both with her work and students. In the process of a complete career change, she was ultimately the reason I went to graduate school for psychology instead of architecture.
