There are so many Uncle Jerry moments! One memory that always makes me laugh is centered around one year when we all participated as a team on a local radio show’s monthly call in Trivia contest. During one of the contests it was suggested that a group of us rapidly Google answers. I said, “Isn’t that cheating?” Uncle Jerry put his arm around my shoulder and responded without any hesitation, “Win when you can, lose if you must, but always ALWAYS cheat.” His wit and humor will be sorely missed.
Great times at the many car shows. I always enjoyed the time with you and the knowledge you provided to me on the vette. Thanks for being a friend . JJ

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jerry's passing.
Jerry was my first manager, and one of my fondest memories of him dates back to 2006 during my first visit to Dayton. He took me for a ride in his yellow Corvette and showed me around the city. As a young employee visiting the United States for the first time, I never felt like I was spending time with a manager—it felt more like being with a friend. He made me feel welcome and at ease.
During that same trip, I became ill and was confined to my hotel room for several days. Jerry took the time to visit me, and that simple act of kindness brought me great comfort at a time when I was far from home and feeling quite anxious.
More than anything, I remember Jerry for his kindness, warmth, and genuine care for others. His support left a lasting impression on me, and I will always be grateful for the friendship and encouragement he showed a young employee far from home.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
