Jewell E. Sizemore's Obituary
SIZEMORE, Jewell E., age 88, of Bellbrook, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Jewell was born and raised in Jenkins, Kentucky.
Outgoing and friendly, Jewell was a proud mother and grandma. Children always had a special place in her heart. She enjoyed being a homeroom mother, coordinating Pee-Wee football bake sales, and attending her children’s events. Jewell would tell you that her favorite job was being an infant caretaker at Early Beginnings Child Care and Learning Center in Centerville. She also enjoyed her many years managing restaurants for GZK (Famous Recipe) and McDonald’s.
Jewell loved to make crafts and was very talented at embroidery. She enjoyed hand-making quilts for her loved ones and friends; including generously making numerous quilts for infants who were in protective care. Along with her husband, Tom, she was a proud season ticket holder for the University of Kentucky Wildcats football team, the Dayton Dragons baseball team, and the Wright State Raiders basketball team for many years. In addition, she enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Tom R. Sizemore, in 2018; her parents, Ira and Delsie Anderson; and four brothers, Jimmy, Kenneth, Jonah, and Edmund Anderson. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Ruby) Sizemore and Steven (Gina) Sizemore; her two daughters, Donata R. Sizemore and Pam Sizemore; two grandchildren, Gabriella Sizemore and Juliana Sizemore; one brother, Ballard (Nann) Anderson; one sister, Rose Marie Hardin; and multiple nephews, nieces, and extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 11 am – 12 pm on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Conner & Koch Funeral Home in Bellbrook. Burial will be at Bellbrook Cemetery.
