I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and many times at grandpa Cetone‘s house,Buddy and Joanne would be there and that is how I remember them mostly. She was very close to aunt Helen and I last saw her when she visited my house because I had family over and she hadn’t seen them in years and said she didn’t want to miss it. I last saw Buddy (Arthur) when he came to my mom’s funeral and I had some old pictures on the poster board that showed mom when she was young and he said he would always remember her that way.
They were always very good to me, and I know how he loved his tomatoes and planted them every year as long as he could.

She was an amazing roll model teaching by example.. working part time while raising the family and caring for her mother and father. She worked at Sears and House of Fabrics.She was a fantastic seamstress and was always creating something beautiful! Always willing to teach those that wanted to learn..Rest in peace Mom you are the best example of how I want to be.
Joanne was in our Kettering quilting group. Covid ended our gatherings. She always had a smile and a good word. Kathy Bean

she always seemed to do everything effortlessly, raise 6 kids, entertain grandkids, cook wonderfully, sew-she made all my maternity clothes, work ,
