Juanita Mitchell (Howard)'s Obituary
Mitchell, Helen “Juanita,” 91 of Dayton, Oh, passed away Wednesday April 20, 2016. She was born June 2, 1924 to the late Julia (Mayse) and Milford J. Howard. Juanita was very proud to be from Sandy Hook, Kentucky and loved going home to visit family and friends. In her mid-years she became a “snow bird” and enjoyed many years of sunshine, fishing, and walking along the beaches throughout Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Mitchell. Juanita is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and John Ruble of Kettering; son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Fran West of Springboro; four grandsons, Anthony, Brian, Rodney and Sean; seven great-grandchildren, Corrine, Charlotte, Ashley, Austin, Sarah, Isabella and Holly. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm Tuesday April 26th at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651), followed by a life celebration service at 1:00 pm, with Chaplain Timothy J. Rech officiating. The burial and committal service will be held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley, 6820 Roosevelt Ave., Suite B, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
