rest in peace Suzie
Sue and I worked for the county over thirty years ago. She was a great prosecutor, judge and friend. my prayers are with the family and know she will be missed by all she came in contact with.
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I have fond memories of living next door to Judge Goldie in Xenia for a few years (something I'm afraid I often boasted of to my friends) and attending her first swearing-in ceremony as a fifteen-year-old girl with my dad. It was my first experience in a courtroom and is still a vivid memory. I'll be keeping your family in my prayers.
We were very sorry to hear about Susan's death. She was a lovely person. We first knew her through school and Scout activities, because our son is the same age as Andy. Later, she generously allowed our theatre, X*ACT, to use her courtroom for our first production. Our deepest sympathy to Andy and the rest of her family.
I was so saddened to hear of Susan's passing. I got to know Susan on our first mission trip to Guatemala. She was one of the hardest and most dedicated of our group! We shared alot while sitting together on the mini bus traveling to the remote villages. She spoke of Andy often. She was full of life and laughter. I am so sorry for the family's loss and pray you find comfort and peace in the days to come. God bless!
I was blessed to meet Susan when I was Andy's teacher at Shawnee Elementary School in Xenia. She had a wonderful spirit and zest for life. Susan was always upbeat and cheerful and would do anything for our school. My condolences to Andy and the rest of her family.
I worked with Susan when I was a deputy. She was a leader in being fair and firm when dealing with people. She was a very stanch supporter of law enforcement that let you know ,what you did made a difference. She also had a great since of humor and a laugh that was contagous. She will be greatly missed but will be warmly remembered. Her family will be in my prayers.
I knew Susan Goldie on several levels - from another soccer mom at Xenia High School to a judge to a co-worker. Susan was one of the fairest, most caring people I have known. Her laugh was great and there was no doubt she was in the area when she burst out laughing. I was deeply saddened to learn of her passing and I know she will be missed. My deepest condolences to Andy and the rest of her family.
I will always treasure the amazing times hanging out with Andy and friends at Judge Goldie's house throughout Jr. High and High School. She always took interest in our lives and went out of the way to be a good mom...and we always loved the fact that we knew the judge personally! I and many of Andy's friends even worked in the court house and we will miss Judge Goldie greatly.
Judge Goldie was one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. There are so many thoughtful and giving things that she has done for so many people. She will be missed by so many. Words will never be able to express my sadness. What a great Lady. I am very proud to have known her.
