rest in peace Suzie
Sue and I worked for the county over thirty years ago. She was a great prosecutor, judge and friend. my prayers are with the family and know she will be missed by all she came in contact with.
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I have fond memories of living next door to Judge Goldie in Xenia for a few years (something I'm afraid I often boasted of to my friends) and attending her first swearing-in ceremony as a fifteen-year-old girl with my dad. It was my first experience in a courtroom and is still a vivid memory. I'll be keeping your family in my prayers.
I was so saddened to hear of Susan's passing. I got to know Susan on our first mission trip to Guatemala. She was one of the hardest and most dedicated of our group! We shared alot while sitting together on the mini bus traveling to the remote villages. She spoke of Andy often. She was full of life and laughter. I am so sorry for the family's loss and pray you find comfort and peace in the days to come. God bless!
We were very sorry to hear about Susan's death. She was a lovely person. We first knew her through school and Scout activities, because our son is the same age as Andy. Later, she generously allowed our theatre, X*ACT, to use her courtroom for our first production. Our deepest sympathy to Andy and the rest of her family.
Prayers to your loved ones. You will be greatly missed.
Judge Goldie's legacy is marked by strong, uncommon support of local law enforcement, both as an effective prosecutor and respected jurist. Her enthusiasm for her work, combined with a commitment to fairness established her positive reputation in Greene Co. courts. May her family find comfort in knowing Susan was so highly regarded as a true public servant.
Ms. Goldie had been working with us on taxes which we deeply appreciated that. We parted with smiles and laughter back in July. I was so shocked to read of her passing yesterday. Sending our prayers.
I first met Susan and began to know her on a professional level when she was the Xenia City Prosecutor and from that we became friends. I have many good memories of our professional relationship and friendship that I will cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. She will be missed.
Judge Goldie was one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. There are so many thoughtful and giving things that she has done for so many people. She will be missed by so many. Words will never be able to express my sadness. What a great Lady. I am very proud to have known her.
